Verdansk Returns to Warzone: New Event, Rewards, and Free Access
Call of Duty: Warzone reintroduces Verdansk with a special event, rewards, and a free trial from April 2. Unlock exclusive content and revisit classic locations.

Activision, alongside Treyarch and Raven Software, has unveiled details for the highly anticipated Return to Verdansk event, set to coincide with the relaunch of the original Call of Duty: Warzone map next week.
The event, running from April 3 to April 15, will offer players exclusive rewards, new gameplay experiences, and a limited free trial period, providing access to premium content across multiple modes.
Verdansk’s return introduces 12 distinct zones available in Battle Royale and Plunder modes, each containing safes that players can crack for exclusive in-game items. Rewards include sprays, emotes, finishing moves, and a chance to unlock a rare Operator skin exclusive to the event. Completing all 12 objectives grants access to the Kali Sticks melee weapon from Modern Warfare 2019.
Players who log in during the event will receive six free rewards, including:
- Kilo 141 (primary weapon)
- Domino (Warzone Operator)
- Mil-Sim USEF (Warzone Operator)
- Blue Legacy (Contrail for Verdansk veterans)
- Coming Home (Parachute for Verdansk veterans)
- Like We Never Left (Gunscreen for Verdansk veterans)
To mark Verdansk’s return, a 24-hour free trial begins on April 2 at 9 a.m. PT, allowing full access to premium Black Ops 6 content, including Zombies and Multiplayer modes. Players can unlock rewards during this period, which will carry over into Warzone.
Ahead of the launch, Warzone servers will be temporarily offline from April 2 to April 3 as Verdansk replaces Urzikstan. Once live, players can revisit iconic locations such as Atlas Superstore, Stadium, and Gora Dam on both console and PC for the first time since 2021.
